Who would sit the whole ride to the peak and exit?

SPX took 1 month to drop away from 2000

It took a month (Aug 25, 2014 to end of Sep 2014) for SPX to drop away from 2000 since it hit 2000 for 1st time.

1) Bull trap: Fake up formed island.  MM escaped.  will see more gap down in the next couple of days.

2) Bull shakeout: Winter is coming.  Shake out weak followers before another leg up.

Year opener: ES: +59; ETF:–52, wild day

+71-66+32 = $37

Fed day, wild swing both sides.  I traded small, otherwise, I would lose big.  Even on $40 ETF, I made $32.   Before opening computer, I didn’t expect it would unfold like this.  I only stayed cool for about 40 minutes.  Still a lot to learn, especially study how MM set traps.  Art!!!

captured a good run, +343 on ES and ETF combined; followed not so popular 25-trading days old gap;

pocket, 2HrHL setup all in line. Next few weeks, market will likely have low volume and my day job demands a lot.  I also need to study Brooks.  Tentative stop trading until 2015.  Good way to say good bye to 2014.

I would have wrongfully 1) bet on gap close;  2) followed the trend in a range bounding morning

Even I was so cautious, I still picked bottom too early twice and was down $–300 intraday.

+200 on ES with open ETF position; wild swing; still have weak and vulnerable spots for MM to attack

2 open pockets: 64.25 and 46.25 on 5-min.  which one to reach first?
